The Department of General Medical Practice and Outpatient Therapy of RMACPE, under the leadership of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation Alexey Sergeevich Ryazanov, on the eve of the start of clinical residents' practical training, conducted a series of clinical case discussions devoted to the implementation of an interdisciplinary approach in managing complex clinical cases in outpatient practice. Teachers, clinical residents, students of professional development programs, participants of the Department's Young Scientists' School, and young specialists from the Moscow Department of Health took an active part in the preparation and conduct of the clinical case discussions.

Professor Ryazanov particularly noted that: "The goal of conducting clinical case discussions is the formation and improvement of professional clinical thinking in young specialists. In modern medical practice, a significant number of patients have multiple chronic diseases that are pathogenetically interconnected, which complicates timely diagnosis and the selection of therapeutic drugs. Clinical case discussion of a patient significantly increases the level of practical skills and abilities among students of professional development cycles, clinical residents, and young specialists, broadens their clinical horizons, and introduces them to the latest scientific achievements in the field of disease diagnosis and treatment."
